MAM CHA uses tea leaves produced in the Abe River basin, the oldest tea-producing region in Shizuoka Prefecture. The tea produced in the Abe River basin is known in the industry as "Hon-yama Tea" and is considered one of Shizuoka City's two major brand teas. MAM CHA uses tea leaves produced in the "Tamagawa" and "Matsuno" regions, located upstream of the Abe River basin. We blend tea leaves with different characteristics depending on the tea farmer, and are committed to roasting methods that bring out the best in the tea.

MAM CHA is also particular about its packaging so that it can be used for small gifts. While many tea packages are Japanese-style, we have created packaging that is more casual and enjoyable for younger people.

For a delicious cold brew, put a tea bag in a teapot, place 4-5 ice cubes on top of the tea bag, then pour water over it and wait 20-30 minutes to bring out a gentle sweetness.

For Japanese black tea and genmaicha, we recommend brewing with hot water and then adding a lot of ice to chill it before drinking. For hojicha, put a tea bag in a teapot, place 4-5 ice cubes on top of the tea bag, then pour water over it and wait 20-30 minutes to bring out a gentle sweetness.

Brand It is said that Japan is the only country in the world with so many onomatopoeic words for food, such as "mochi-mochi" (chewy), "pari-pari" (crispy), "shaki-shaki" (crunchy), "toro-ri" (creamy), and "kotte-ri" (rich). This suggests that people living in Japan have a strong passion and dedication to food. Surrounded by the sea and mountains, Japan is blessed with abundant nature. Delicious foods can be found everywhere. However, what we know as delicious is probably still just a handful. There are still many truly delicious foods that are not widely known. There must be masterpieces of local specialties, born from ingredients produced under unique local conditions of climate, water, soil, and terrain, combined with the meticulous skills and dedication of artisans. The MAM CAFE series was born by discovering these local specialties and combining them with our new ideas. We search all over Japan for "delicious foods," pursuing the joy of offering them with confidence, and introducing the best flavors.
